Hello

We believe that everyone, from the very youngest upwards, is a unique and valuable member of God's family. At. St. Mary's we have fun together, learning and growing in God's love, and exploring what it means to have faith in Jesus Children .

"Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."

Mark 10:15

Events

One Way

In a session for 6 to 11 year olds, packed full of stories, games, singing and hands-on craft, we look at the Bible together and help children to think of ways to apply it to their day-to-day lives. On Sundays at 10.30.

Ignite

Our session for 3-5 year olds aims to nurture and inspire, with plenty of music, stories and creativity; helping our younger children start to understand their unique value in Christ. On Sundays at 10.30.

Sparklers (Coming soon)

Sparklers, for 0 - 4 year olds has plenty of playtime along with a story, singing and prayer time as well. It's so important to invest in the smallest members of our church family too. On Sundays at 10.30.

Mini Moments

Mini Moments is a midweek toddler group for children aged 0-5 and their parents and carers, with activities from singing to crafts to toddler-friendly bible stories.

Due to Covid guidelines pre-booking is essential. Email rebekah.wiseman@stmarysncorton.com for more details. We'd love to hear from you.

Supporting Families

We think of church as family, and on Sundays and at our toddler groups we enjoy looking out for each other as we find our way through the ups and downs of parenting.

Our children and families pastor Bekah can provide a listening ear and signpost carers to additional help if needed.

At the Primary School

At. St. Mary's Primary School we run the Nurture Room; a space in school for children to talk through their emotions and express themselves through creative projects.

We also run a Parent “Drop in” on a Monday morning, where parents and carers can come, chat and be listened to over a coffee.

Music

If there's one thing our children's worker loves (almost as much as she loves supporting our children and families) it's music!

Bekah is a great musician and brings her musical talents to our children's groups, as well as having helped the children to write their own songs.

Parties & Popcorn

Whether it's our fabulous Christingle Nativity Trail, or our brilliant Zoom Easter party, we like to celebrate fun times and enjoy tasty treats.

During school holidays we hold our fun and laid back "Popcorn Sunday" sessions, with great DVDs and plenty of snackage.
